New Scratch Post is Finished

Dad finished my new scratch post, and here it is.

Pretty impressive, don't you think?  First, I had to inspect the workmanship.

Then I had to try it for size, make sure I could get inside.

Seems I fit OK.  Here I am, safely holed up inside with my mousies!

Dad told me if I started scratching the outside, he'd kill me!  Not sure I understand that.  What's the point of having a scratch post if you can't scratch it?  I'm still using the old one, just to be on the safe side.

He does take orders!!

I'm a big fat ginger hiding cat.

  1. Wow, your dad did a fantastic job! And we bet it didn't cost the approximately $100 something that size would cost in stores here.

If you lived near us we would put an order in. LOL.

Enjoy your new kitty condo, Puss!

  2. That is a great looking scratching post. We don't understand either why you can't scratch it if it is a scratching post. That does look like a great hiding, napping place.
    Have a wonderful week end.

  3. Why is it called a scratching post if you can't scratch it. It does look very smart though and you can hide in it.

Best to heap praise on him, and keep telling him wot a wonderful job he did ~ dads need plenty og encouragement. Then when he's bored wiv hearing it, yoo can scratch it to bits!!!!! MOL!

  9. What a beautiful scratcher your dad made for you! Very Professional job. We agree with Milo and Alfie that your dad just wants a few moments to admire his creation. We would be so pleased to receive such a lovely gift. Give your dad lots of extra kitty kisses and hugs, dear Puss. He did a great job.
