Now the weather is a bit warmer, I've abandoned my cushion in favour of sleeping elsewhere. It's always good to have a change, so I've been rediscovering my Kitty Condo and, of course, my Kitty Cube. I likes it when I sleep in the Cube, as mostly Mum and Dad don't notice I'm there and then have to spend time looking for me.

Mum sometimes takes pictures of me when I'm asleep. Well, she thinks I'm asleep, but really I'm only pretending.

It is a bit of a squeeze, especially for a big fat cat like me.

After all, it is what I do best. If you look very closely, my eyes are half open, but I am actually asleep. So asleep, in fact, that I didn't even notice Mum taking my picture, and that never happens.

Sometimes, a Mancat has to take responsibility for the household and keep Dad in check. Mum's back now, and it wasn't too bad, as she'd left Dad instructions. I did get a bit confused, as normally I wait for Mum to come downstairs in the mornings and always come down with her. Of course, the other morning she wasn't there, but I still sat upstairs and waited cos that's what I always do. Dad had to come and get me in the end. There was lots of room in the bed though!
So, I am exhausted keeping Dad in line, so time for a little sleep.

This is one of my favourite spots, right by the door. I like sleeping by the door, so I can make a quick getaway if I need to.

Mum's been having some trouble with her photo uploading, so she's been testing it out with a rather splendid photo of me.
Today, I’ve been very brave, and have ventured over the garden wall and out into the street. Dad was very worried about me, even though I was fine hiding under next door’s car, so I didn’t stay out for very long.

Sometimes, it takes them ages to make the bed in the mornings, and sometimes, I just can’t wait until after it’s done for my first morning nap.
I am so tired ……
This morning, two big men came into the house!! Cheek of it! They were delivering some chairs for the boat thing. Mum is not best pleased as these are nearly a month early, and are now cluttering up the living room. Apparently the boat thing isn’t finished yet. I went outside, out of the way, and waited until they had gone before coming in to inspect the new arrivals. They look quite comfy, although I wasn’t allowed to sit on them, not now, anyway!! I’ve had such a stressful morning there’s nothing else to do but sleep, especially as there’s a nice clean duvet cover on the bed.
What’s going on? I went to sleep for a bit, and when I woke up, everything had gone white. I don’t know much about white, but I know I don’t like it. I’m a sun cat, I want to have the warm sun on my ginger fur. I don’t like this whiteness.
However, I did go outside to investigate, just in case ..
It made my paws very cold! I went down the steps and round the garden, making sure I left some paw prints so the girl kitties next door would know I was still here, then came back in and retreated back to bed.
Mind you, it’s not much warmer in our house, as the wooshy thing in the loft that makes the heating work doesn’t work properly now. To compensate, I have mastered the art of staying on the bed all night, no matter how much they try and push me off!
Now, if only this white stuff would go away!
I know, I know, I sleep a lot. Let’s face it, it’s done nothing but rain for the last week or so. Everytime I go outside, it rains, so I come back in and go to sleep.
This is not my sofa, but it’s just as comfy – I’m only sleeping here because he got into my spot first.
At night, I like to sleep on the end of the bed, so that I can keep an eye on things. She’s a bit of a fidget, but I just get off, wait till she’s settled again, then get back up. Mind you, having been asleep all day, and most of the night, by about 5 am, I’m up and raring to go, and am ready for my breakfast. I do my best to wake her up, but this morning she wasn’t very happy about it, and pushed me off the bed. I got my own back though, by doing a great big poo in my box, which is in the spare room next door, and then making sure I’d opened all the doors so the aroma would waft through. That soon got them out of bed.
